SLIC Unit: Performing Group in New York

About SLIC Unit

SLIC Unit is an electronic project rooted in DJ performance, heard in New York City rooms like Mood Ring. The group moves comfortably between club structures and more pared-back, textural selections, often favoring clarity over spectacle. They’ve shared bills with artists including BERKAN, Nissa Carrington, and yung_womb, including a back-to-back “super sweet happy hour” set that emphasized pacing and clean transitions. Their approach treats the dance floor as a system, built through steady pulse and careful arrangement.
