Ron Vincent Sextet: Jazz Ensemble in New York

About Ron Vincent Sextet

The Ron Vincent Sextet is a New York City small-ensemble jazz group led by trumpeter Ron Vincent, a familiar late-night presence at Smalls Jazz Club. Built out of the same scene that surrounds his quartet work, the sextet favors club-sized arrangements and close, conversational interplay. Vincent’s horn lines are direct and melody-forward, with an emphasis on ensemble dialogue rather than display. The group’s profile has grown through regular NYC dates and steady work on the bandstand.
