Pornceptual: Performing Group in New York

About Pornceptual

Pornceptual is a multi‑DJ collective presented in New York City at BASEMENT, where its bills function like a curated survey of contemporary club styles. Their lineups have included The Lady Machine, Huamaniser, KONZ, Lydo, Curses, Kim Ann Foxman, and Shaun J. Wright, moving between EBM, darkwave, cold‑wave, and italo‑leaning electronics alongside house and techno frameworks. The project foregrounds programming and sequencing as a form of authorship rather than a single headliner. Its nights tend to favor continuity and texture over spectacle.
