Kate McKinnon: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Kate McKinnon

Kate McKinnon is a Rock/Pop performer whose work also carries the timing and character instincts of a seasoned comedian. In the New York–area circuit, she appears at NJPAC, including programs such as *An Evening with Kate McKinnon and Stephen Colbert*, where her set shares space with Colbert’s satirical, politically tuned stage presence. McKinnon’s performances favor clarity over spectacle, moving between song-forward delivery and tightly shaped persona work. Her approach reads as crafted rather than improvised, even when the tone stays loose.
