Bastards of Young: Dance Company in New York

About Bastards of Young

Bastards of Young is a dance group seen in New York City lineups at Littlefield, most recently paired with Moral Kiosk for a bill framed around R.E.M. and the Replacements. Their work sits comfortably in shared-program contexts, including nights that also feature artists such as Scooter Clifton. The group’s approach reads as performance-forward rather than concept-heavy, using timing and ensemble precision as primary tools. The result favors clarity over spectacle, letting presence and pacing carry the material.
