    About Jerry Z Band

Jerry Z Band is a New York City–based jazz group heard on stages like the Iridium. The band’s work sits in the contemporary groove-and-improvisation lane, shaped by collaborations with players such as Oz Noy, Lenny White, Mike Clark, and Chad LB. In performance, they build sets around tight rhythmic frameworks that leave room for quick shifts in harmony and conversational solos. Their approach favors ensemble awareness over showmanship, letting the interplay carry the narrative.
