Sam Bolduc: Jazz Musician in New York

About Sam Bolduc

Sam Bolduc is a jazz and free-improvising musician heard in New York City rooms including Bar Bayeux. In sets like Victor Gould’s engagement there, Bolduc works alongside players such as Gould and bassist Tamir Shmerling, shaping the music through close listening and quick, on-the-stand decisions. The approach favors interaction over fixed arrangements, moving between straight-ahead language and open forms. Their growing audience online sits alongside a steady presence in live ensemble work.
