Edward Pérez Trio: Classical Ensemble in New York

About Edward Pérez Trio

Edward Pérez Trio is a contemporary-classical ensemble heard in New York City at National Sawdust, where its work often sits inside Silkroad’s orbit of cross-cultural collaboration. The trio has appeared in National Sawdust Presents: Silkroad Up-Close, sharing the bill with artists including Shane Shanahan, Yacouba Sissoko, Mike Block, Maeve Gilchrist, Seamus Egan, and Kaoru Watanabe, and welcoming guest vocalist Mahya Hamedi. Their programs move between notated writing and improvisatory practice. The playing favors clarity and chamber-like listening over spectacle.
