Gabriel Garzón-Montano: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Gabriel Garzón-Montano

Gabriel Garzón-Montano is a New York City–based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose work moves between rock/pop frameworks and the pull of R&B, soul, funk, and later urban-reggaeton. He came into wider view after opening Lenny Kravitz’s 2014 European tour, followed by a high-profile sample in Drake’s “Jungle.” His debut album, *Jardín* (2017), arrived via Stones Throw Records and helped place him on stages in the U.S. and abroad. In rooms like National Sawdust, his performances favor groove and vocal phrasing over spectacle.
