Sahba Motallebi: Classical Musician in New York

About Sahba Motallebi

Sahba Motallebi is a classical musician whose work draws on Persian musical traditions in ensemble settings. In New York City, she has performed at Roulette with Sahba Motallebi & Ensemble, including the program “Persian Music – an Evening of Solidarity and Harmony (RBA).” Her projects tend to foreground collective listening and the relationship between melody and rhythmic pulse rather than solo display. Her performances favor clarity over spectacle, with an emphasis on phrasing and blend.
