Motion Graphics: Performing Group in New York

About Motion Graphics

Motion Graphics is an electronic project associated with musician and producer Joe Williams, developed around studio-built systems and performance-oriented sequencing. The work often blurs synthetic and simulated acoustic timbres, using software tools and controlled randomness to arrive at textures that feel engineered rather than played straight. In New York City, Motion Graphics appears in late-night DJ contexts at Nowadays, including bills alongside Arushi Jain, Carpet (F.L.H.P.), Crimeboys, Cry, MARBLE RYE, and rrao. The sets favor pacing and sound design over spectacle.
