One-Man-Band, Dave Turner, Hawaiian Transplant and NY Native, Tour's His Second Studio Album: Performing Artist in New York

About One-Man-Band, Dave Turner, Hawaiian Transplant and NY Native, Tour's His Second Studio Album

One-Man-Band Dave Turner is a Hawaiian transplant with New York roots, working the city’s small-stage circuit with sets built for rooms like Freddy’s Bar. His second studio album is tied to an approach that favors economy and structure over spectacle, with a single performer carrying the arrangement. Turner has been a regular presence around Brooklyn open mics, including Mimsey’s nights that welcome music, comedy, and poetry, as well as bills alongside groups like Humans Against Music and recurring community showcases. His work moves easily between song-based performance and looser storytelling formats.
