Onakan Disko: Performing Group in New York

About Onakan Disko

Onakan Disko is a group working in electronic music and DJ-based performance, with regular ties to New York City’s MAD Radio NYC. Their sets center on pacing and transitions, treating the room like a single long arrangement rather than a string of peaks. In the MAD Records LAB event “THE GROOVE,” they shared the bill with James Park, leaning into close listening and rhythmic discipline. The work favors structure over spectacle, with sound design kept direct and functional.
