About Wordless Music String Quartet
Wordless Music String Quartet is a classical ensemble heard frequently in New York City’s contemporary music orbit, including appearances at Roulette. The group moves between concert-hall repertoire and collaborations with artists from adjacent scenes, having performed with Us v. Them, David Longstreth, Haley Fohr, Mal Devisa, and Mutual Benefit. Their recorded footprint sits in the “orchestral” lane, with a large online listenership. In performance, they favor clean ensemble blend and precise rhythmic work over theatrical presentation.
