Jon Langford: Folk Musician in New York

About Jon Langford

Jon Langford is a Welsh musician and visual artist who has long worked out of Chicago, moving between alt-country, Americana, and ensemble-driven rock. In New York City he has appeared at the Mercury Lounge, including shared bills with The Silos that draw on a history of collaboration and overlap in scene and repertoire. His songs lean on plainspoken narrative and a band-first sensibility, leaving space for parts to interlock rather than compete. The result favors directness over spectacle.
