Y2k: Dancer in New York

About Y2k

Y2k is a dance artist whose work stays close to club culture, using reggaetón as a structural engine for pace, phrasing, and transitions. They are slated to bring that approach to Irving Plaza in New York City for the 18+ event “Reggaetón Y2K.” The sets are built with an ear for rhythm and a dancer’s sense of timing, emphasizing clean shifts over theatrical buildup. Their public profile also intersects with the wider “Y2K” touring moment in contemporary pop, reflected in online circulation and scene-adjacent billing.
