DJ Stingray: Performing Artist in New York

About DJ Stingray

DJ Stingray is the Detroit-based DJ and producer Sherard Ingram, a key presence in the city’s electro and techno lineage. He founded Urban Tribe and has long been linked to the Drexciya orbit, bringing that mythology into sets built on rapid tempos and sharply engineered drum patterns. In New York City, his appearances at Nowadays place his futuristic electro alongside peers like Convextion, Rene Wise, Juliana Huxtable, and DJ Koolt. His performances favor precision over crowd-pleasing pivots, treating “techno” as a broad, functional label rather than a fixed genre.
