Kareem,: Comedian in New York

About Kareem,

Kareem is an Egyptian-American comedian and media entrepreneur whose work sits between stand-up and street-level interview. Based in New York, he has appeared at Union Hall, including on the Hack City Comedy bill hosted by Mic Nguyen and Jenny Arimoto alongside comics such as Esther Povitsky, Nataly, Aukar, Harshil Shukla, and Courtney Maginnis. His background includes stints at The New York Times and advisory work in documentary media, alongside co-founding the Nameless Network. His comedy favors clean premises and direct observation over spectacle, shaped by the pacing of short-form interviews like his ongoing Subway Takes series.
