Hinayana: Folk Musician in New York

About Hinayana

Hinayana is an individual artist working at the border of rock and pop but drawing heavily from melodic death and doom metal, as reflected in their Spotify tagging. Their New York City appearances include Irving Plaza, where they have shared bills with Amorphis and Insomnium on the “Amorphis & Insomnium” event lineup. With an emerging profile on Spotify and roughly 11K followers, the project reads as steady-building rather than breakout. The performances favor precision and weight over spectacle.
