Mellow Man Ace: Hip-Hop Artist in New York

About Mellow Man Ace

Mellow Man Ace is a Cuban-American rapper whose work is built around bilingual rhyme and quick shifts between English and Spanish. Raised in Los Angeles after leaving Cuba as a child, he emerged in the early wave of Latin hip-hop, pairing novelty-wordplay instincts with a rhythmic, percussive delivery. In New York City, he has brought that approach to stages like Irving Plaza, including bills with Cypress Hill for events such as “Cypress Hill – Haunted Hill.” His performances favor crisp phrasing and timing over spectacle.
