Oasis: Rock Band in New York

About Oasis

Oasis is a Manchester-formed rock group closely associated with the Britpop wave of the 1990s, built around Liam Gallagher’s vocal stance and Noel Gallagher’s songcraft. Their catalog favors big choruses, mid-tempo swagger, and a direct, guitar-forward sound that holds up in a live room. In New York City, their music is often heard through tribute bills, including Brooklyn Bowl’s “MANCHESTER FOREVER,” pairing Oasis material with a Smiths tribute. The band’s approach prizes immediacy over ornament.
