About Baphora
Baphora is a group heard in New York City’s bar-room performance circuit, with recurring appearances at Freddy’s Bar. Their track record threads through community-stage formats, including Mimsey’s Open Mic (music, comedy, and poetry), Humans Against Music, and the weekly comedy open mics on Mondays and Wednesdays. They’ve also crossed into storytelling with “So What Happened Was…” on third Mondays and into original-music rooms hosted on third Tuesdays. The work favors directness and room-awareness over spectacle, shaped by the demands of short sets and mixed bills.
