Chiavassa: Jazz Musician in New York

About Chiavassa

Chiavassa is a New York City–based jazz artist heard at Ornithology Jazz Club, where their sets sit comfortably in the club’s close-listening tradition. They have worked alongside Todd Herbert, Jeremy Manasia, Jason Clotter, Larry Banks, Anthony Pearlman, Brent Lerman, Jules Gardener, and Charlie Lincoln. Streaming tags place them near jazz fusion and adjacent electronic edges, though the work stays grounded in ensemble interplay. Their performances favor clarity over spectacle, with an ear for structure and shifting groove.
