Suzie Brown: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Suzie Brown

Suzie Brown is a New York City–based rock and pop songwriter and performer who appears at The Bitter End. Her work sits between power pop and acoustic-rooted playing that crosses into newgrass territory. She has shared bills with acts and collaborators including Claudia Russell, Bruce Kaplan, Phil Kennelty, and the lineup billed as On Your Radar. On stage, Brown favors direct phrasing and a bandstand feel over spectacle, letting the songs carry the set.
