About SECRET BALLOT READING
SECRET BALLOT READING is a New York City–based rock/pop artist whose work sits between songcraft and spoken narrative. In live settings, including appearances at the Knitting Factory, the project is presented with a stripped, documentary sensibility that keeps attention on voice, rhythm, and lyric detail. The writing favors direct language and steady pacing, often letting small shifts in tone carry the drama. The performances tend to favor clarity over spectacle.
