The Soft Parade: Rock Band in New York

About The Soft Parade

The Soft Parade is a New York City–based tribute group devoted to the music of The Doors, performing regularly at Drom. Their annual Jim Morrison birthday show traces the band’s late-1960s repertoire, with close attention to the original interplay of voice, keyboards, guitar, and drums. The set list often nods to the 1969 “Soft Parade” era, when the Doors widened their palette with horn and string colors alongside their blues-rock core. Their approach favors accuracy and ensemble balance over impersonation.
