Pamphlets: Performing Group in New York

About Pamphlets

Pamphlets is an electronic group heard in New York City rooms like Cassette, where their sets sit close to the floor and the PA does most of the talking. Their recorded footprint leans toward post-punk and indie punk affect, even when the tools are synths and processors. They’ve shared bills with Carlos Truly, Dhemo, Key Hutch, Miles Hewitt, Andy Nicholl, Drawl, Slow Down Sunny, and Untitled Freak, including nights billed with ADA LEA, EVAN WRIGHT, and AVALON TASSONYI. The approach favors structure and repetition over spectacle.
