WeBop Family Jazz Party: Spring: Jazz Musician in New York

About WeBop Family Jazz Party: Spring

WeBop Family Jazz Party: Spring is a Jazz at Lincoln Center program built for families, using live performance to introduce the building blocks of jazz. Staged in New York City at Jazz at Lincoln Center, it draws on the institution’s education tradition and its roster of working musicians to frame rhythm, melody, and improvisation in plain terms. The format emphasizes participation alongside listening, with call-and-response, movement, and guided ear training. The approach favors clarity over spectacle, keeping the music at the center while inviting young audiences into the process.
