Jakob Dreyer: Jazz Musician in New York

About Jakob Dreyer

Jakob Dreyer is a New York City–based jazz musician heard in small-room settings such as Ornithology Jazz Club. He has worked on bandstands with players including Todd Herbert, Jeremy Manasia, Jason Clotter, Larry Banks, Anthony Pearlman, Brent Lerman, Jules Gardener, and Charlie Lincoln. Dreyer tends to favor ensemble balance and steady structure, leaving space for conversation inside the tune rather than display.
