Presents...Pedrito Martinez & Friends featuring Rosario Armas is a New York–based performance project led by Cuban percussionist and vocalist Pedrito Martinez, bringing Afro-Cuban and timba-rooted repertoire into a rock/pop club setting. Martinez has appeared on more than 100 recordings and is known for collaborations across jazz and popular music, including work with Wynton Marsalis, Bruce Springsteen, and Sting. At The Bitter End, the group rotates a cast of featured guests, with Armas joining the lineup for this edition. The approach favors rhythmic precision and ensemble interplay over spectacle.
