Presents...Pedrito Martinez & Friends featuring Itai Kriss is a New York–based set built around Pedrito Martinez’s Afro-Cuban percussion and singing, shaped by years of work across more than 100 recordings. Since settling in the city in the late 1990s, Martinez has moved between Latin jazz, timba, and rock-adjacent contexts, with collaborations that include Wynton Marsalis, Bruce Springsteen, and Sting. At The Bitter End, the project functions as a rotating salon, bringing in guests such as flutist Itai Kriss alongside other featured artists.
