Joekahn is a New York City–based musician working in the free music continuum, often appearing at Cassette in Ridgewood. Their sets move between electronic texture and open-form playing, built around pacing and restraint rather than obvious peaks. Joekahn has shared bills with Carlos Truly, Dhemo, Key Hutch, Miles Hewitt, Andy Nicholl, Drawl, Slow Down Sunny, and Untitled Freak. They have been part of Ridgewood Rendezvous Drag Show, where improvisation sits alongside late-night drag in a mixed, rotating lineup.
