    About NYC Shadowcast

NYC Shadowcast is a New York City performance group working at the intersection of rock/pop and cult cinema. At City Winery NYC, the ensemble is known for staging *The Rocky Horror Picture Show Pride Edition with the NYC Shadowcast*, drawing on live vocals, choreography, and audience-facing rituals that have long defined the format. Their work treats the film as a score to be performed in real time, with roles distributed across a rotating cast. The approach favors precision and communal timing over spectacle.
