LaJuan Carter: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About LaJuan Carter

LaJuan Carter is a New York City–based rock and pop performer who has appeared at The Bitter End, a room known for close listening and stripped-back sets. In recent bills such as Billy Seidman & Friends, Carter has shared the stage with musicians including Oz Noy, Rich Mercurio, Ada Dryer, John Deley, John Conte, and Billy Seidman. The work sits in the bandstand tradition of the city, built around interplay rather than front-of-house spectacle. Carter’s performances tend to favor direct phrasing and a steady pocket over showmanship.
