“HUMAN”: Performing Artist in New York

About “HUMAN”

HUMAN is an individual theater artist presenting work at BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) in Brooklyn. Their current project, titled “HUMAN,” draws on the contemporary stage tradition associated with Stephen Karam’s acclaimed one-act play, which moved from an Off-Broadway run to Broadway and later received major awards attention. In performance, HUMAN leans into ensemble dynamics and domestic realism rather than theatrical display. The approach favors plain speech, tight pacing, and the slow accumulation of tension.
