Alexi David Trio: Jazz Ensemble in New York

About Alexi David Trio

Alexi David Trio is a New York City jazz group heard at Smalls Jazz Club, working in the close quarters of the small-room tradition. The lineup can shift night to night, but the emphasis stays on ensemble interaction, time feel, and fidelity to the tune. Members have crossed paths with saxophonist Saul Dautch in projects including the Saul Dautch Quintet, alongside related units such as the Alexi David Quartet. The playing favors clarity over spectacle, letting structure and conversation carry the set.
