Ali Ryerson is a flutist whose work moves between classical training and modern jazz practice, with a parallel career in education. She has toured and recorded widely, sharing stages with artists such as Billy Taylor, Kenny Barron, Stéphane Grappelli, Roy Haynes, and Luciano Pavarotti, and she has led numerous releases under her own name, including duo projects with guitarist Joe Beck.
