Kelela: Hip-Hop Artist in New York

About Kelela

Kelela Mizanekristos is an alternative R&B vocalist and electronic-minded songwriter who first drew wider notice with the 2013 mixtape *Cut 4 Me*, followed by the *Hallucinogen* EP (2015), *Take Me Apart* (2017), and *Raven* (2023). In New York City she brings late-night sets to venues including Brooklyn Paramount, where her shows trace that arc into material from her 2026 album *New Avatar*, and C’mon Everybody. Her collaborations and shared bills have ranged from keiyaA and Moorea Masa to Hilary Duff and Lana Del Rey. Her performances favor precision and atmosphere over spectacle.
