About BoomBox

BoomBox is an American rock and electronic project that began in 2004, rooted in the overlap between DJ culture and song-based collaboration. Singer-songwriter Zion Godchaux currently performs with his half-brother, Kinsman McKay, drawing on years of producing and shaping tracks as much as playing them. Onstage, the group leans into a hybrid setup that threads rock instrumentation through electronic rhythm and texture. At Brooklyn Bowl in New York City, their sets tend to favor groove and gradual build over spectacle.
