About Adyjo

Adyjo is a New York City–based performing artist whose work has appeared at the Milton G. Bassin Performing Arts Center. Their credits include collaborations with Miguel Anggelo, the Queens College Choral Society, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, the Queens Symphony Orchestra, Santiago Cruz, Cirque Kalabanté, and Titi Tassa. In the Queens Jazz Trail Concert: Brass Queens, Adyjo takes part in a program that moves between brass-band language and Afro-Latin jazz contexts. Their stage presence favors precision and ensemble listening over display.
