About Matroda

Matroda is an electronic DJ and producer whose work moves through bass house, tech house, g-house, and electro-leaning club cuts, with a secondary pull toward hip-hop and R&B rhythms. In New York City he’s appeared at Knockdown Center and the Ruins at Knockdown Center, including bills such as “Matroda Day & Night NYC Marathon by Gray Area” and the Carla dal Forno–led program. His sets have shared space with artists ranging from Mechatok and Enrico Sangiuliano to Danny Krivit, Benny Soto, and Timmy Regisford. The approach favors tight transitions and functional groove over spectacle.
