Saul Dautch: Jazz Musician in New York

About Saul Dautch

Saul Dautch is a New York City–based jazz musician heard in small-room settings like Smalls Jazz Club. He appears with his own Saul Dautch Quintet and in ensembles such as the Alexi David Quartet, where the work is built around close listening and fast, practical decisions on the bandstand. His profile remains grassroots, with a modest Spotify following that reflects a musician circulating primarily through live performance. His playing favors line and time over spectacle.
