LAVA is a DJ group heard in New York City’s late-night circuit, with sets presented at Purgatory. Their work moves between DJ practice and freer, room-responsive performance, fitting bills that mix electronic pacing with basement-facing improvisation, including PriDE MONth III. They have shared lineups with DJ TK, Porcelain Vivisection, Clown Syndrome, Uncle Blender, Consumer Culture, Grace Givertz, Adelyn Strei, and Hannah Thompson.
