About CFCF
CFCF is the Montreal-based electronic project of Michael “Mike” Silver, named after the call sign of a local TV station. His productions draw on chillwave’s softened edges, using nostalgia as a compositional tool rather than a retro gesture. In New York City, he brings that approach to the club context at Elsewhere, including DJ sets alongside artists such as Mietze Conte. The pacing tends to be clean and unhurried, with synth lines that stay foregrounded over spectacle.
