Betty Kean: Performing Artist in New York

About Betty Kean

Betty Kean is a New York City–based electronic artist who performs at Cassette, working in sets that balance rhythmic structure with live, mutable texture. Her appearances around the city include events titled TEYLA, MARY MALU, and ZOE CASDIN. She has shared bills with Carlos Truly, Dhemo, Key Hutch, Miles Hewitt, Andy Nicholl, Drawl, Slow Down Sunny, and Untitled Freak, moving through overlapping scenes rather than a single fixed lane. Her performances favor clarity over spectacle, with small shifts in tone doing most of the work.
