Shiverboard is a New York City group working in free improvisation, with audible ties to noise rock and mathcore. They appear at Cassette, including the venue’s KARAOKE NIGHT series, where karaoke structures are treated as open scores rather than fixed songs. In the downtown circuit they’ve shared bills with Carlos Truly, Dhemo, Key Hutch, Miles Hewitt, Andy Nicholl, Drawl, Slow Down Sunny, and Untitled Freak. Their sets favor pacing and room response over genre fidelity, moving between electronic detail and rough texture.
