Benson Boone is an American singer-songwriter who first drew notice with a brief run on *American Idol* in 2021 before stepping away and building an audience online. He later signed to Night Street Records, founded by Dan Reynolds, and released early singles including “Ghost Town” and “In the Stars.” Working in a pop-rock frame, Boone leans on direct melody and diaristic lyrics more than vocal ornament. On the Wanted Man Tour, he brings that approach to New York City stages including Barclays Center, alongside dates at Prudential Center.
