hemlock: Folk Musician in New York

About hemlock

hemlock is an electronic artist whose work sits between club architecture, textural sequencing, and open-ended improvisation. In New York City, they appear in Purgatory’s downtown basement circuit, including bills like *Pearla, Léna Bartels, and hemlock*, where the room’s close acoustics reward detail over volume. They have shared lineups with DJ TK, Porcelain Vivisection, Clown Syndrome, Uncle Blender, Consumer Culture, Grace Givertz, Adelyn Strei, and Hannah Thompson. The performances favor structure and restraint over spectacle, letting transitions and timbre do the work.
