Astrology Meet Up—held on fourth Tuesdays at Freddy’s Bar in Brooklyn—is hosted by Antje Sommer, in the room before Darkroom. The gathering sits inside Freddy’s wider open‑mic circuit, crossing paths with Mimsey’s Open Mic, Humans Against Music, the Monday and Wednesday Comedy Open Mic, and the monthly storytelling series So What Happened Was.... Sommer’s approach favors structure over spectacle, keeping the focus on shared listening and discussion rather than performance. She has also appeared in bills that blend music, stand‑up, poetry, and community programming, including Arts4Choice.
