NOUR is the performance project of Moroccan artist Nour-Eddine Lakhmari, working across instrumental music, voice, and movement. His background spans composition and choreography, with an approach that treats the live set as staged action as much as a concert. In New York City, NOUR has appeared at Arlene’s Grocery on bills with On Parade and IVK, moving between rock/pop structures and indie electronic textures. The work tends to favor control and pacing over spectacle.
